How do I move/install NTS and data to a new computer?
I want to install NTS on a new computer.

  1. In order to install NTS on a new computer, NTS will need to be installed using a download link from the NTS web site. This link can be sent to you via email. If you need a download link sent to you, please email us at mail@ntssoftware.com. Make sure to include your Customer #. For assistance installing NTS, please see the link at the bottom of this page.
  2. Make a Backup of the data from the old computer. We recommend using the ALL DATA Backup option to transfer the records to the new computer.
    If choosing the ALL DATA option, we recommend using the CLOUD Location if both computers have internet access.
    DO NOT check either the Contributions or Checkbook boxes.
  3. On the new computer, Restore the data from the Backup Location. Make sure to check the ALL DATA box and not the Contributions or Checkbook boxes
