Backup Error:  The destination folder "X:\ ..." is not accessible.

If you are making a backup to a USB/flash/stick drive, you may need to change the Location. Each time a drive is plugged in, your computer will assign it the first available drive letter, i.e. E:\, F:\, etc. So the drive letter could change if you unplug the drive and plug it back in again later.

  1. Click on Location to and locate the flash drive in the list of available drives. If it is plugged in and working properly, it should be listed.
  2. Select the correct drive letter and click OK.

If you believe NTS is not working correctly, you can test NTS. To verify that NTS is working properly, change the backup drive to C: and attempt to make a backup. If a successful backup can be made to the C: drive, NTS is working properly.
